A message from WOW

Who are we?

Watching Over Whiskers (WOW) was founded in 2014 and then established at the Community Foundation of the Ozarks in 2015 where cat-loving individuals can make tax deductible donations to help make a difference in the lives of felines in Southwest Missouri. In 2017 we took the leap and became a 501c3, while maintaining our original, primary fund at CFO.

Watching Over Whiskers (WOW) has a 3 faceted approach to feline care in Southwest Missouri. WOW supports routine vetting to help place felines in loving FOREVER homes, as well as Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance to help control the overpopulation of community felines, and emergency vet assistance for owned felines on a case-by-case basis.

What do we do?

Through 2024, WOW has been able to TNR, help owners with emergency feline assistance, as well as vet and/or place well over 9300+ felines and we couldn’t have done it without YOU!

The kindness and compassion YOU have shown has made all the difference and given the amazing WOW volunteers the ability to help defenseless felines who have no voice but our own.
